About the Position: This position serves as a Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) or National Policy Act (NEPA) Program Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Honolulu District, Environmental Programs Branch. The Branch consists of a multi-disciplinary group of professionals dedicated to project excellence. Our team executes multi-faceted environmental technical work such as FUDs and NEPA, using both our in-house expertise and by contract.
Duties
Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned programs and projects.
Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the program.
Negotiate and integrate all district functions customer requirements, regulatory and environmental requirements, and other agencies commitments in support of assigned programs/projects into a comprehensive PgMP/PMP.
Coordinate the planning, design, and environmental considerations, etc., for a complex highly visible program and specific project.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 25%.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Coordinate the environmental requirements of major projects; and 2) Develop a comprehensive environmental management plan which integrates sponsor/customer requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
