Position is located within the Air Traffic Organization, Eastern Service Center, Operations Support Group, AJV-E200.
Duties
Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of FAA air traffic control processes and procedures to perform required airspace and procedures analysis. Considers the objectives of the major subdivision and LOB/SO when developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to diverse, complex problems. Assignments frequently require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizational lines.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-J level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I or FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is:Demonstrated experience and ability in planning and executing UAS airspace authorizations and approvals including Part 91, Public Aircraft Operator, military operations, and commercial off-the-shelf waivers of applicable statutes and regulations while coordinating Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COAs) for domestic and international UAS operations; interfacing with key stakeholders including the Department of Defense and FAA leadership.Established experience coordinating special use airspace requests, airspace utilization reports, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating DOD emerging technologies including but not limited to fifth-generation fighter aircraft, hypersonic weapons, Link 16 operations, and other DOD advanced technologies.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
