About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking is available.
Duties
Determine requirements for training facilities, classroom, ranges, tactical vehicles, weapons, ammunition and visual and specialized equipment.
Coordinateall training requirements with installation activities and outside agencies when overseeing the scheduled instructions of the training schedules and course requirements.
Assure compliance is within regulatory requirements when dealing with unit cadre, commanders and battalion/ brigade staff, coordinating with installation activities and some outside agencies.
Coordinate all training requirements.
Requirements
- This position requires a Secret Security Clearance. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- This position requires shift work, overtime work, some working at night, working on weekends and holidays and may require the incumbent to work alternate or flexible work schedules in support of cyclic training schedules and training missions.
- This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C 922). Persons convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random drug testing thereafter, to include drug testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This positon requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Mail Handler Certification.
- This position requires the incumbet to have a current Drivers License.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1) planning, coordinating, scheduling and projecting courses of instruction/class training and 2) using automated training software to complete work tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Education.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
