About the Position: This is a Supervisory Business Management Specialist GS-1101-12 position with the Mission Installation Contracting Command.

Duties

Manage a comprehensive Government Purchase Card (GPC) program for multiple subordinate organizations and/or external Command customers. Establishes, maintains, and terminates GPC accounts, takes remedial actions regarding delinquencies and other legal and regulatory non-compliances, and provides problem solving, advisory and other GPC support. Supervise work of the branch that provides support to DoD’s GPC directives and program strategies by accomplishing management and administrative functions. Directs and oversees subordinate A/OPC in the consolidation and submission of information on monthly/quarterly/annual reports on GPC program performance.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
