The mission of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) is to provide force protection, security, and law enforcement to safeguard personnel, facilities, infrastructure, and other resources for the Pentagon Reservation and designated Department of Defense (DoD) facilities (hereinafter referred to as "the Pentagon Facilities") within the National Capital Region (NCR).
Duties

Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:
Serves as the Team Lead Budget Analyst for PFPA Assistant Director Mission Integration (ADMI) and Chief of Staff (COS).
Plans, coordinates, integrate, and manages, the resource related functions of the organization.
Provides technical advice and guidance to the organization's employees, managers, and senior leaders regarding performance of budget functions and/or internal operations of the Agency.
Coordinates and evaluates compliance with Federal Manager's Financial Integrity Act and applicable OMB, DOD and PFPA regulations.
Responsible for the total spectrum of programming, planning, appropriations management, and budgeting functions of the complex ADMI and COS programs for all appropriations.

- This position requires incumbent to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and annually thereafter
- Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 1300.26, "Operation of the DoD Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP)," this position requires a Level 3 Certification under the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program.

You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to (1) applying the fiscal and appropriation guidelines and directives of a Department or Agency level, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Budget Circulars, Executives Orders and, Congressional legislation to advise and recommend solutions to senior management and implement internal appropriation management policies and procedures; (2) applying knowledge of the federal budget process in order to assist senior analysts with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Future Years Plan, and respond to financial data calls; (3) applying knowledge of appropriation or fiscal law in order to interpret and analyze reports and data.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
