This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for Resources & CFO, Washington, D.C.
Duties
You will serve as the Deputy Chief of the Office of Resource Management and responsible for the day-to-day oversight and implementation of long-term goals associated with planning, administering, and directing the enterprise’s resource management functions, including budget execution/oversight and financial management programs.

Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to the line of work.
You MUST MEET 3 our of the 4 conditions below: Your resume/supporting documents MUST demonstrate that you have met the specialized experienced.
Directing and coordinating the presentation of budget execution, base resource changes and financial management materials; AND
Directing the development of requests for apportionment of appropriated funds, reviewing of program plans, and with management, establishing funding targets for programs and projects; AND
Directing appropriate policy analysis of a variety of issues to support the budget execution and financial management of newly appropriated and previously appropriated base resources; AND
Directing the development, review, justification and presentation of budget execution, base management, and financial management programs, processes and products, and presenting this complex material to agency executives.
