You will serve as the Deputy to the Office of Research and Technology Application (ORTA) manager of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. Corona Division's Technology Transfer (T2) Office plays an integral part in accomplishing the overall mission of transitioning Navy innovation from the lab to the market, and ultimately, the warfighter.

Duties

You will serve as the Deputy to the ORTA manager of Corona Division Non-Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Agreement development and management of Agreements. You will manage agreements - Work with Private Party, Partnership Intermediate, Educational Partnership, Cooperative Research and Development, Limited Purpose, Patent License, and more agreements, in support of the Technology Transfer program. You will assist in drafting, coordinating and managing all T2 related Non-Disclosure Agreements and Acknowledgement NDAs, Letter of Support/Endorsement, Licensing planning and agreements, and associated agreements as required. You will provide realistic assessments of agreements to support and contribute to the accomplishment of Division strategic positioning. You will coordinate agreements across all Division technical departments and provide Agreement support for Corona Division sites around the globe. You will apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to respond to multiple data calls with short turnaround times, modifying techniques as required to fit a wider range of variables. You will facilitate the transfer of intellectual property, resources and information between Corona and external communities to improve the value of innovation and creative work accomplished at Corona.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 equivalent), or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying qualitative and quantitative techniques in the coordination, negotiation, staffing, and oversight of Partnership agreements with government or non-federal entities in support of technology transfer. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR
