You will serve as a Maintenance Management Specialist in the Production Trades Division, Fleet Readiness Cener Southwest of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duty Station: Naval Air Base Coronado, CA
Duties
You will apply practical knowledge of ground support equipment (GSE) functions and management of assigned Integrated Product Team (IPT) hazardous waste containment.
You will identify and schedule GSE equipment for preventive maintenance and calibration and perform daily pre-operational checks on various pieces of equipment on a daily basis.
You will maintain daily records on GSE and hazardous material, and maintain inventory, accountability and control of the GSE per local and higher-level authority.
You will conduct meetings and briefings to discuss problems and arrive at agreement on solutions or to inform or make recommendations to management.
You will participate in the preventative maintenance, planning, development, coordination, improvement and implementation of maintenance procedures for necessary Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
You will provide assistance in resolving problems with the assigned IPTs GSE planning and scheduling with contractors and vending.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying working knowledge and experience of ground support equipment (GSE) to accomplish assigned program goals and objectives; (2) Participating in preventative maintenance planning, development, coordination, improvement, and implementation of aircraft, engines, components, accessories, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE); (3) Managing and maintaining calibration records on all assigned tools and equipment; (4) Ensuring calibrated tools and equipment meet calibration due dates and coordinate this effort with technical personnel, (5) Serving as a focal point for assigned program team to exchange, compile, and apply support equipment, preservation, and hazardous/waste/material; and (6) Maintaining liaison with contractors and other activities within the organization for collaboration and resolving technical problems.
