Duties
You will perform work that involves developing, delivering or supporting Information Technology (IT) systems and services.
You will perform analytical and project management functions related to the execution of IT license acquisition management.
You will provide software/hardware license data analysis and reporting, implement project management processes, and contributing to the development of acquisition strategies.
You will provide technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
You will consult with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying for STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and stated in your resume.
Qualifications
NO-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Perform proficient analytical/project management functions related to the execution of IT license acquisition management and conduct research and analysis of IT industry trends, software license inventory & usage metrics, contract financial data, and future forecasts to establish a business case justifying the cost of awarding and maintaining an enterprise agreement.
NO-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Perform analytical/project management functions related to the execution of IT license acquisition management and conduct research and analysis of IT industry trends, software license inventory & usage metrics, contract financial data, and future forecasts to establish a business case justifying the cost of awarding and maintaining an enterprise agreement.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
