Duties

Oversee the administrative processes of the P3O-Skillbridge (P3O-S) program at assigned installation where P3O-S is co-located with the Transition Assistance Program. Responsible for administrative oversight of the Active Component to Reserve Component (AC2RC) recruitment process. Ensure smooth interaction for Service members who are ETSing from active duty and choose to join the US Army Reserve and enter training with industry partner programs. Serve as the liaison between the TRL and RCCC when a recruit is interested in entering P3O-S approved Skillbridge training program. Responsible for coordination, tracking and reporting on the status, metrics and periodic performance of all P3O-S partners at their locations to the Program Manager. Provide routine feedback to partners on program performance and execute any improvement plans or probationary actions. Attend briefings, hiring events and other opportunities to assist with recruitment into the MilTech program as part of the AC2RC process. Serve as the key administrative officer that facilitates the orders process for the Soldier and coordination with the assigned unit to process the orders. Assists the training partner and Soldier with completing all required application documents and facilitates appropriate signature on documents.

  • THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
  • This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete the Unit Administrator Basic Course within 18 months of appointment.
  • This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete the Unit Pay Administrator Course within 18 months of appointment.
  • The duties of this position may require the incumbent to work evenings, nights, holidays, and/or weekends to include modification in shifts and/or tour of duty.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Organizational Management and Leadership, Public Administration, Business Administration, and Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
