About the Position: This position is located at the U.S Army Sustainment Command, Logistic Readiness Center at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This is a Term Not to Exceed 13 Months position.

Duties

Work involves the receipt, storage, turn-in and issue of organizational clothing and equipment items. Determining whether received items are serviceable. Inventory procedures and skill in making accurate inventories in order to participate in cyclic and special inventories. Uses common hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers and pliers as well as hand trucks, hand lifts, pallet jacks, dollies and electric jack lifts in performance of duties.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. This position may require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination.
• Temporary duty travel away (TDY) will be required up to 5% of the time.

Work is performed in close quarters in/on warehouses, bin aisles, ramps or platforms. Exposed to injury from falling stock, handling materials, and mechanical equipment.
