Duties
Establish and monitor development and progress of numerous plans and programs pertaining to War Reserve and Army Prepositioned Stock (WR/APS) materiel requirements for managed commodities/supply classes.
Ensure assigned logistics, maintenance, supply and materiel readiness programs are executed according to operational plans and directives.
Provide analysis of near and long-term effects of materiel requirements, availability, budget/funding constraints and the impact on the ability of War Reserve/Army to meet mission and operational requirements.
Collaborate major and secondary item materiel requirements across the organization, Army, DOD, and other U.S. Government agencies.
Advise on the implementation and effectiveness of integrated automated data processing legacy and modernization systems that aid in accomplishing the materiel management and supply functions and operations.
Integrate complex actions pertaining to the execution of TACOM War Reserve and Army Prepositioned Stack (WR/APS) mission.
Research, analyze, interpret and implement policies and guidelines relative to mobilization, war reserve requirements, assets, and programs.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- TDY up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Maintaining stockpiles of secondary item equipment; AND (2) Distributing secondary item equipment across different regional or global storage locations using an automated logistics database, such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP); AND (3) Conducting logistics lifecycle functions for procurement or inventory management of new secondary item; AND (4) Analyzing secondary item requirements to verify equipment can be supported, adjust requirements as needed, and post revised requirements to an accountable logistics database, such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower band/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
