About the Position: This position is under the supervision of Ground Combat Systems R&S Directorate, Infantry & Logistics PSID, matrixed to Project Manager, Mounted Armored Vehicles. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the ILSC in Warren, MI.
Duties
Assures the execution of plans with responsibility for the integration of all functions and a special emphasis in the areas of supply and maintenance programs and plans.
Represents Project Managers Office at conferences or meetings relative to logistics plans and objectives.
Serves as the principal point of contact for all logistics support activities for assigned vehicle systems.
Provides management direction to ensure that separate programs are integrated, fully coordinated, and effectively implemented to attain desired goals.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) developing integrated logistics support plans; 2) developing and managing logistics contract requirements; 3) providing logistical support on maintenance and supply procedures; and 4) directing and coordinating the efforts of functional specialists in the support of organizational goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
