About the Position: This position serves as a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. security assistance.

Duties

Review established policies, procedures, regulations and directives to determine correct appropriation to be used. Provide advice and recommendations on all resource management processes for appropriated and non-appropriated funds, to include manpower management. Plan, program, formulate, and execute the budget of assigned programs. Keep abreast of new trends, financial systems, and state-of-the-art budget concepts, practices, methods, and functions.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Percentage of time to be spent Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is 20%.
  • The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position's SCW certification level.
  • This is a financial management Level 2 Certified position. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements within the timeframe associated with this certification level.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
