This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Human Resources Directorate (HRD), IBC HR Directorate Fin Mgmt Bus Ops Office. The incumbent will be responsible for quality control reviews over FMBO in support of program and project areas.

This announcement reflects the GS base salary. The actual salary will be based on selectee's location, grade, and step.
Duties
Review and final approver of special project, migration and casuals costing sheet. Conduct training for the project leads, analysts and divisions on the standard operating procedures for managing the special projects.
Monitor and tracking charging to the special projects, migrations and casuals to ensure appropriateness and timely completion of projects.
Conduct Quality control reviews and accountability for both financial management and business operations for the human resources directorate.
Prepare briefing papers and presentations for HRD management on results of the quality control assessments.
Prepare and disseminate financial reports and summarize data for management.
Qualifications
At the GS-14 level, you must meet the following qualification:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Experience with budget formulation and execution for Working Capital Funds and expertise in business and financial management activities for the organization: Expert knowledge of appropriations law for revolving funds, appropriate use of funding by service area and: advise the CORs and management on contracting guidance.
