You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the MATERIAL READINESS DEPARTMENT of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA located in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Duties

You will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse On-Site Lead with Operating Materials and Supplies program management. You will perform warehouse management/administrative functions and conduct daily warehouse inventory management operations. You will establish warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets. You will report on visibility and accountability of assets to ensure compliance with governing policy. You will provide guidance on warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to locate, organize, and move material.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to possess a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to obtain a Forklift/MHE license and/or certification within 90 days of appointment and maintain thereafter every five years until age 60 and annually thereafter.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating a supply program to develop procedural and operational improvement plans.
