You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Systems Support Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Duties

You will analyze and coordinate FLCSD Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System user role(s) requirements to support FLCSD and its partner activities. You will analyze and track problem resolution through completion and notify internal and external ERP Users status and outcomes. You will serve as the commands Navy ERP and Naval Identity Services (NIS) subject expert. You will provide program management and other related business processes.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have least one year of Management Analyst specialized experience performing and applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency at the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. I have experience applying a knowledge of established management policies, theories, principles, concepts, laws, regulations, precedents, and procedures, as well as a knowledge of the ERP Program and functionality to support the deployment and sustainment of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP). I have experience utilizing information systems to assimilate a wide variety of factual data and apply analytical methods and techniques for the use of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and software based business management systems. Examples of specialized experience may include performing the following: 1) Analyze internal procedures to identify, and recommend implement process changes relating to Navy Enterprise Resource Planning functionality; 2) Analyze data to determine recommended approaches to optimize N-ERP training sessions; 3) Research, gather, and analyze information and data in order to organize and write reports that set forth a balanced and realistic position of the subject under consideration; 4) Coordinate the establishment of Navy ERP access in the AOR through maintenance of personnel records an end user accounts; and 5) Proficient in the use of base level computing applications such as word processing, presentation software, and spreadsheets sufficient to track and monitor requests, training requirements, training completion, maintain automated records.. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
