About the Position:This is a Project Manager, GS-0301-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Fort Worth District, Programs & Project Management Division (PPMD), Fort Worth, TX.
Duties
Represent the District Commander serving as the District's primary point of contact for the project assigned with sponsor/customer; Counterpart USACE offices and other external organizations; and higher authorities.
Serve as Project Manager responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned project.
Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the project.
Integrate all functions (i.e., planning design, cost engineering, construction, real estate, contracting, etc.), sponsor/customer needs, and other commitments in support of assigned project into a comprehensive project management plan.
Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental restoration, etc., for the assigned project as measured by the in diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical intricacies, and public issues.
Control and manage project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and closeout.
Requirements

Qualifications
A Recruitment or Relocation Incentive of up to 25% of the Base Salary, MAY be offered, depending on funding availability and management discretion. An Incentive must be requested by selected applicant at the time of the tentative job offer and approved prior to hire. An Incentive requires a signed service agreement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing at least 3 of the following duties: 1) reviewing internal/external project schedules for horizontal or vertical type projects; OR 2) managing or leading a multi-discipline team for planning studies, complex designs, or horizontal/vertical construction; OR 3) developing budgets or cost estimates to support horizontal or vertical type projects; OR 4) developing a comprehensive management plan for horizontal or vertical type projects; OR 5) communicating with internal/external customers, stakeholders, or state/federal agencies via project delivery team meetings, conferences, or briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
