This position serves as the Lead Operations Officer in a Regional Operations Center (ROC), Office of Policy, International Affairs, and Environment (APL), National Engagement and Regional Administration (ARA). The position reports to the ROC Manager, and will serve as the non-supervisory lead for the ROC team.
Duties
Facilitates, plans, and schedules cross-ROC collaboration, ensures quality, implements greater consistency and standardization, promotes best practices, ensures efficient transfers of operations, analyzes trends, and maintains databases and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Supports the ROC Manager during routine daily operations, regional and national disasters, and contingency operations.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- A Top Secret clearance is required for the position.
Qualifications
To qualify at the FV-J level, candidates must have One Year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (FG/GS-13, FV-I) that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in this position.
