You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Spectrum Warfare Systems Department (WX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.
Duties
You will provide administrative support for Department meetings, i.e., agenda preparation and distribution, recording and distributing minutes and action items, tracking resolution of action items.
You will perform department level analysis and metrics coordinating, overseeing, and managing with respect to business and administrative tasking.
You will plan, organize, and coordinate integrated projects across the Divisions as well as with other Departments, as required.
You will provide planning and intra- and inter-Departmental coordination of high impact events such as Distinguished Visitor (General/Flag/SES) engagements, Meet the Missions, and Connect to Mission events.
You will complete travel authorizations and vouchers for Department Head, Deputy Department Head, and other staff, as requested.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-09 through GS-10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support functions and coordinating day to day operations (e.g., scheduling, calendar management, correspondence preparation, screening calls, visitor request) for senior leadership.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
-Successfully completed Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
-Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
-Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
