Supports the DCSA Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Directorate in identifying and informing on foreign intelligence entities' threats. Provides analytic expertise related to critical technology and training. Evaluates all-source raw reporting, open source information, and cleared industry reporting to assess foreign intelligence threats to U.S. critical technologies. Responsible for researching, screening, collecting, evaluating, and disseminating finished assessments and briefings.
Duties
As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conducts all-source research and analysis to identify and inform stakeholders on foreign intelligence threats.
- Presents findings in oral and written communications.
- Represents the agency at CI working groups.
- Develops training materials and conduct CI awareness training for agency personnel, other government agencies, and cleared industry.
- Maintains liaison with US Intelligence and Law Enforcement Communities to exchange information and coordinate analytic efforts.
- Performs administrative and information management tasks as directed by Division and/or Branch Chief.
- Advises leadership on all aspects of the program areas under this position's responsibility.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: In-depth knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, and techniques associated with intelligence, CI, law enforcement, threats to critical technologies and DoD programs, and related disciplines. This includes knowledge of terminology, methodology, and intelligence gathering techniques, and research and structured analytical techniques as applied to complex assignments in CI analysis.
