About the Position: Serves as a Financial Management Data Analyst, applying Resource Management (RM) and Data Analytic principles and practices to perform a wide variety of complex financial management, accounting systems and data analytic functions.
Duties
Applies resource management and data analytic principles and practices to perform a wide variety of complex financial management, accounting systems and data analytic functions.
Review and analyze regulations, laws, directives, ledgers, journals, accounts cost data and related transactions and functions.
Provides professional management accounting advice and recommendations to Command program managers regarding problems found in current and future operational efficiency.
Provides advice and guidance covering a wide variety of financial policies and program/system requirements and collaborate with various teams to collect and analyze data.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Reviewing a variety of financial transactions, documents, procedures, policies and/or systems; 3. Conducting research to collect data for composing of financial reports or briefs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
