About the Position: Serves as a senior financial management specialist. Develops, analyzes, evaluates, and recommends policies designed to implement effective and efficient financial management program planning, budget formulation, analysis, and evaluation of budget execution for assigned area with Joint Munitions Command.
Duties
Provides expert interpretation, advice, and recommendations on financial matters, policies, and regulations.
Projects and analyze the potential effects of budgetary actions on program viability and attainment of program objectives.
Develops new methods and techniques of budgeting for the forecasting of long-range funding needs to meet command mission and objectives.
Plans and carries out assignments while directing others, resolving conflicts, coordinating work, and interpreting policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Position requires incumbent employee to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- TDY or business travel up to 20% may be required.
- This position requires Financial Management Level 2 Certification.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
