About the Position: This is a Team Lead position. The incumbent will lead a team of financial management and program analysts. This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, G-8 HQs and Payroll Execution Division, Rock Island, IL. Please limit your resume to 5 pages. Duties

Provide expert recommendations on all financial matters relevant for use in budgeting and executing processes. Analyze financial data from various financial systems to develop reports and determine system output impact. Interpret the results of financial execution to assess performance and to determine the adequacy of resource stewardship. Research various historical costs to develop predictive requirement factors for impact on command resources. Monitor work for accuracy to ensure guideline and timeliness conformance. Recommend possible process improvement changes to supervisor from identified problem areas.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 10% of the time.
  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, sec. 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d.
  • Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
  • This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
