Duties

Review Headquarters Department of the Army (HQ DA) and Headquarters Army Materiel Command (HQ AMC) generated policy documents/guidance and disseminate to ILSC Major Item Managers/Fleet Planners. Ensure all Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) stakeholders are appraised of the overarching policy, guidance, and requirements governing Major Item Management. Demonstrate functional and transaction knowledge of Logistical program/Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) systems and the ability to impart knowledge to other teammates and provide technical direction to item managers. Apply various analytical methods and techniques to resolve difficult problems and issues associated with Item Management. Responsible for assisting the Senior Logistics Management Specialist in the design, development, and execution of training for Item Management/Major Item Management/Fleet Management to include any automated Item Management Tools. Develop and provide effective briefings and written communication for higher authority. Providing guidance on supply management functions from initial procurement, sustainment support to end of lifecycle divestiture planning for Major Items. Participate in meetings, projects and working groups with members of the ILSC, Program Executive Office (PEO), HQ AMC, and HQ DA communities to discuss and resolve logistics issues for Major Items.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
