This is a TERM position.
Duties
You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant responsible for performing clerical or technical work supporting personnel screening in the areas of fingerprinting, submission of initial investigation data/requests and hiring actions.
You will be responsible for performing clerical or technical work supporting CYS and youth programs, and one or more military personnel programs operations or functions.
You will examine information in records, documents, and database systems to insure completeness, eligibility, and conformity with applicable regulations and guidance.
You will perform duties and oversee military personnel programs: soldier in-processing and/or out-processing, soldier actions, casualty operations, records management, assignments/reassignments, personnel manning and retirement/transition processing.
You will be utilizing electronic systems to retrieve, print or forward fingerprints and submit investigation requests in accordance with guidelines and screening processes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Non-Critical Sensitive Investigation with Secret Access.
- Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in one or more of the following: preparing a variety of personnel actions such as forms and documentation associated with fingerprint processing, maintenance of records, entitlements, and other associated actions; and support of one or more personnel programs, operations, or functions in the management and execution of personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05)
