About the Position: Serves as a Specialist in the S3 office, Public Health Command-Pacific. Provides plans, operations and training support to ensure quality support services. Areas of emphasis include active involvement in current operational management and future program development to meet mission requirements in the areas of operations and training.
Salary includes 21.79% locality payment. A 8.90% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) is currently authorized, subject to change.
Duties
Develops, coordinates and evaluates the effectiveness of a variety of planning efforts relating to operations support management, Force Modernization disaster and contingency planning, and mobilization planning.
Responsible for the preparation, implementation, and distribution of operations orders, FRAGOS, taskers, task tracker and a variety of sensitive classified operational plans.
Coordinates resources in support of installation special events and ceremonies to include retirements, changes of command, etc.
Oversees the operations and training staff and provides guidance to staff and subordinate units on setting up operational plans and training programs.
Requirements
- Mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination is required.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Government Purchase Card.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Up to 25% TDY may be required.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid, U.S. state-issued Driver’s License
- Position is designated as Mission Essential.
