You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst in the Ammunition Supply Chain Strategy (ASCS)
Division of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
Duties
You will serve as the primary analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of the Navy's ability to transactionally report on the Conventional Ordnance stock profile.
You will serve as the technical authority for Navy policy regarding transactional reporting.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and directing the work of subordinate staff.
You will make decisions on problems not resolved at lower levels.
You will keep abreast of emerging trends in supply chain management and changes within the DoD policies and
procedures for assigned areas.
You will serve as the resident SME for the use of Ordnance Information System-Wholesale to identify and correct transactional reporting errors.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. I have experience leading and/or supervising supply chain management and systems analysis in support of the efficiency and effective of complex inventory management of DOD's non-nuclear/conventional ordnance. Specialized experience must include all of the following: 1) apply a thorough knowledge of policies, regulations, directives and guidelines from DoD, OPNAV, and NAVSUP pertaining to Conventional Ordnance Supply Chain Management; 2) utilize a thorough knowledge of DoD and DoN non-nuclear ordnance inventory management processes and practices, as well as automated Ordnance Information systems utilized (Ordnance Information System (OIS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS), etc.) and their capabilities therein in order to research and resolve complex inventory management issues and identify and correct transactional reporting discrepancies; 3) provide ordnance stockpile management and associated logistics support services for the Navy; 4) recommend and execute changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the Navy's Ordnance inventory accuracy programs; and 5) Communicate, both orally and in writing, to effectively communicate the results of analytics to management and stakeholders.
