You will serve as a EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the AVIATION READINESS & RESOURCE ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT, LOGISTICS PRODUCTION DATA DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will serve as the Technical Standarization Lead for the Weapons Loading Standardization Team. You will provide standardization oversight of all platforms, and the streamlining of logistics processes. You will support the team in maintaining requirements supporting the design, development, or production of weapons systems and associated equipment. You will assist in implementing policies and procedures for operational, maintenance, test, and equipment support.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating experience with weapon and store loading, downloading, and aircraft system checks or weapons assembly; 2) Utilizing technical manuals to perform weapons assembly or loading functions; 3) Utilizing Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS); and 4) Drafting preliminary weapons publications to support Developmental and Operations test events.
