You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Test & Evaluation Management of Programs & Operations (TEMPO) Division and Product Support Package (PSP) Test & Evaluation (T&E) Branch of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF.
The duty location of this position is Patuxent River, Maryland.
Duties
You will analyze technical data systems to identify the effectiveness of logistics support operations.
You will develop an integrated logistical support (ILS) plan to support aviation weapons systems or subsystems programs.
You will determine integrated supportability requirements in the system engineering process to confirm logistics considerations are addressed in the
system acquisition process.
You will analyze a logistics design plan by using systems engineering requirements.
You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures.
You will analyze technical data systems to identify the effectiveness of logistic support operations.
You will create oral presentations and author written reports and other documentation as required.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the full range of weapons system integrated product support and taking concluding action within any area of logistics for the assigned weapon system;
2) Establishing processes and guidelines that ensure that the supportability analyses performed are logical, analytical, repeatable and auditable, and result in successful identification of maintenance requirements and support alternatives;
3) Using theories, concepts, principles, and practices of systems engineering, system life-cycle phases, and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases;
4) Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations associated with acquisition logistics of aircraft, aircraft systems, and weapon systems;
5) Assisting in using metrics to measure readiness of assigned programs and systems to define the most efficient use of available resources, and develop an integrated sustainment budget for cost-wise readiness of these systems; and
6) Advising and facilitating the application of logistics concepts and policies across the program, in support of program goals.
