Duties
Serves as a Program Support Specialist in the G-4 (Logistics), Sparkman Management Office (SMO), responsible for performing various program support work for the accomplishment of mission and functions of multiple programs of the G-4.
Advises the supervisor on the technical aspects of office administration by providing advice and recommendations to the staff.
Monitors assigned activities, projects, and reports ensuring they are in conformance with program goals and policies.
Conducts fact-finding to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal work operations and the responsiveness of services provided by contractors.
Gathers and analyzes organizational data for physical space requirements. Develops reports in the form of matrixes, schematics, charts and narratives to reflect options and recommendations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work experience that involves a variety of administrative/ management support projects; preparing, developing, and coordinating informational data/ material utilized for a variety of office activities such as briefings, reviews, symposia, reports, etc. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
