You will serve as a Technician in the Legacy & Small Combatant EW Support Branch of the Maritime EMW Systems Division of the Spectrum Warfare Dept of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-05 pay band encomasess the GS-13/14.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will provide senior level technical guidance to NSWC Crane management, Program Executive Office (PEO), Logistics Officers and Navy Officials related to the SLQ-32C(V)6 operation and installation in labs and shipboard work sites.
You will provide leadership in setting work schedules of lower level technicians for SLQ-32C(V)6 acceptance testing and engineering studies in
Crane's System Labs.
You will validate drawings, perform redline reviews and provide system solutions.
You will lead lower-level technicians to complete tasks on time and under budget.
You will represent the governments contract interests on technical matters related to delivery schedules.
You will perform routine test, diagnostics and inspections to identify potential issues.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and developing technical engineering procedures to plan, schedule and execute maintenance or repair tasks on equipment or systems to ensure optimal performance.
