About the Position: Serve as the SNSR STR Equipment Specialist (LAR) with responsibility to develop and implement the Technical Assistance plan for the SNSR family of systems throughout their lifecycle
Duties
Resolve deficiencies and integrate the hardware and software requirements of assigned SNSR weapon systems
Provide expert technical advice, assistance, and instruction to Army commands on the operation and maintenance of CECOM-managed SNSR equipment
Write technical reports identifying maintenance and logistics trends, technical and administrative matters, etc., including recommendations for improvements at local level and/or action by higher headquarters
Reviews documented log events over a period of time and the solutions used to repair systems to identify causes of failure such as faulty design, improper operations, lack of user training, supply availability, etc

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes 1) Provide technical assistance to a wide variety of electronic systems; AND 2) Provide technical advice, assistance, and instruction to soldiers on the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) equipment; AND 3) Investigate trends in systems malfunctions and logistics for the causes for unusual down time
