About the Position:As Chief of the Logistics Assistance Division, plans, coordinates and directs the overall efforts of the CECOM Logistics Assistance Program worldwide.
Duties
Represents the command in all matters pertaining to the CECOM Logistics Assistance Program
Manages the Logistics Assistance Division training program to insure full support of fielded C5ISR equipment/systems
Directs the activities of approximately 500 personnel through subordinate supervisors
Establishes a rotation training base to provide the technical assistance program with highly skilled employees
Collaborates with heads of other units to negotiate, decide on, and/or coordinate work-related changes affecting other units
Requirements

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS13 level in the Federal service which includes 1) leading a team by communicating assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion; 2) providing expert technical advice, assistance, and/or instruction to end users on the operation and maintenance of communications electronics devises; and 3) investigating failure trends in systems malfunctions and/or logistics for root causes of unusual downtime.
