About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

Duties

Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work of Provisioning teams and individuals in carrying out assigned functional and administrative responsibilities. Periodically reviews the position structure of the branch supervised to assure optimum balance between economy, efficiency, and skill utilization. Directs and monitors all the efforts of a professional, technical, and administrative workforce engaged in planning, coordinating, and executing provisioning requirements across numerous programs. Validates and ensures that various system configuration structures identified by the bill of materials are in alignment with maintenance concepts. Collaborates with Program Manager (PM) or Weapon System Team in development of integrated Logistics Support plans, which address all of the principal elements of support for provisioning aspects of the total system life cycle. Chairs provisioning conferences and attends meetings as a representative of CECOM LCMC concerning assigned weapon system to ensure quality of data uploaded as the Provisioning Parts List (PPL

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Must file an annual financial statement. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Advanced certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
