You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PROGRAM AND BUSINESS ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of PEO FOR TACT A/C.
Duties
You will serve as the Navy's agent for overall management of weapon systems acquisitions.
You will perform budget and acquisition related duties in support of the E-2/C-2 multi-disciplinary IPT.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. . Examples of specialized experience: 1) Formulating budgets and support plans; 2) Performing program funds execution and integrating financial business methods and practices with the acquisition requirements for the PEO; 3) Analyzing financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendation and/or budgetary actions under these types of conditions and time pressures; 4) Monitoring and reporting financial execution status, and directly contribute to production of budget exhibits; 5) Responsible for the associated financial records and reconciliation of commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure accountability of program's funds.
