Duties

You will support management in project case workload and manning based on current staffing and provide case status reporting for all Security Assistance projects. You will implement programs to support all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) assigned support programs. You will provide support to the Aegis BMD Execution and Case Manager in all phases of case management from Price and Availability (PA) development through case closure. You will plan, implement, and manage the procurement, design, integration, spares procurement, testing, delivery and transportation of assigned FMS cases. You will establish program goals and objectives, develop resource estimates, and determine resource allocations for FMS Cases. You will act as a subject matter expert for all Security Assistance performance and metric efforts including Case Execution Performance Tool (CEPT), Financial Management Reviews (FMRs) and Annual Case Reviews. You will be responsible for root-cause analysis, tracking and reconciliation of Un-liquidated Obligations (ULOs), Official Undistributed Disbursements (OUDs) and negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs). You will interface with senior foreign military and government officials and representatives from other activities in order to manage program execution and assigned FMS programs.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating the efficiency, effectiveness, or productivity of foreign military sales programs.
