You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LER) in the Command Operations Group, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), Human Capital Management Dept. Labor and Employee Relations Division (F124000) of COMFLTREADCEN.

Duties

You will research and interpret federal/local laws/policies and case law to provide advice and guidance to management officials on a variety of Human Resources labor management and employee relations issues. You will recommend appropriate resolutions to interrelated Human Resources labor management and employee relations issues. You will interpret negotiated collective bargaining agreements to advise management on union-related matters. You will advise management officials on adverse actions, disciplinary actions, performance-based actions, grievances, unfair labor practices, and union requests for information. You will provide training on topics such as Labor Relations, Disciplinary and Adverse Actions, Performance Management and Leave Administration. You will establish guidance and policies for human resource program to solve complex problems to improve programs. You will manage labor relations and employee relations programs by solving complex issues within a complex industrial command.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serve as a personnel/human resource advisory service to management in areas such as providing advice on Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Benefits, Workers Compensation, and Light Duty services and advice to management and servicing HR specialists. ; 2) Establish guidance and policies for human resource program to solve complex problems to improve programs; and 3) Manage labor relations and employee relations programs by solving complex issues within a complex industrial command.
