You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Human Resources and Organizational Management Branch (HROM) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will serve as an advisor to Manager, Staffing and Classification and Marine Corps Systems Command. You will provide supervisors and managers with interpretations of Marine Corps policies regarding recruitment, position classification, position management and employee relations programs. You will establish and ensure implementation of procedures for the administration of the merit promo??on plan to include procedures for recruitment, placement, evaluation, and pay determinations. You will direct the administration of a position classification and position management program to include position reviews, desk auditing of positions to verify PD accuracy and classification of the position, statement of difference, etc.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: directing and overseeing work of human resources specialists in the areas of staffing, classification, and employee relations, and provide technical operating advisory services on staffing, classification, and employee relations to Marine Corps Systems Command.
