You will serve as an ADMINISTRATION and POLICY OFFICER in the Adjutant Branch of the G-1 Division of MARINE FORCES NORTHERN COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as Force Adjutant and primary source of continuity and expertise regarding all issues pertaining to coordinating internal and external administrative requirements.
You will conduct program outreach to units across MARFORCOM as a means to initiate detailed reviews and coordination of administrative policies and procedures.
You will conduct inspections of subordinate units to ensure sound information governance and accountability measures are in place, compliance with Federal laws and statues.
You will serve as staff analyst, evaluator, and advisor on the effectiveness and efficiency of general and personnel administrative programs used to support unit and personnel requirements.
You will develop and implements policy and procedural guidance that effect the application of and compliance with military pay and entitlements.

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position may be required to perform duties at an alternate worksite in support of Continuity of Operations (COOP).
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee the analysis, evaluation, and advisory on the effectiveness and efficiency of general and personnel administrative programs used to support unit and personnel requirements; develops and implements guidance and other regulations on Federal privacy policies and processes; identify, plan, distribute, and monitor projects to employees to ensure the goals for the overall mission; and oral and/or written communication to influence a diverse audience to accept and/or implement findings and recommendation.
