You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN of NAVSTA MAYPORT.
Duties
You will manage, plan, analyze, program, implement, install, and test all Degaussing Range software and hardware upgrades.
You will operate magnetic field electric sensing equipment to determine magnetic and electric signatures of ships and evaluate the subsequent signature for corrective action.
You will serve as the MSF expert on software packages obtained from vendors such as relational database systems, word processing packages, spread sheet software tools, operating systems and software programing packages.
You will review daily message traffic, and assist with the generation of naval messages which reflect ship's magnetic condition.
You will maintain timekeeping and overtime usage records, and prepares biweekly time card submissions for supervisor's authorization.
You will issue degaussing charts and operator instructions to Fleet units.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Technical and administrative support in monitoring work progress and evaluates work methods for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory directives; 2) Managing, and coordinating equipment procurement, maintenance, repair, installation, and inspection of electronic equipment; and 3) Planning and executing internal and external development of general purpose transmitters for fixed plant installation with a range of power outputs and related accessory equipment.
