You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the SMALL COMBATANTS TEST & EVALUATION BRANCH (Code C43) in the TEST AND EVALUATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION (Code C40) of the COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVAL DEPARTMENT (Code C00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Mayport, Florida.
Duties
You will serve as the Team Lead for Combat System Ships Qualification Trials (CSSQT) test events for Multi-Mission Surface Combatants (MMSC).
You will serve as a Tactical Action Officer (TAO) within the Small Combatant Test and Evaluation Branch.
You will act as direct liaison between program office, Test Director, Project Officer and Project Engineer, responsible for the development, tracking and reporting of shipyard integration, Test and Evaluation, and production programs.
You will apply your experience with naval architecture, shipyard planning, contract administration and ship systems operations to test plan development and environmental assessments relating to testing.
You will collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts across organizations in order to develop solutions and accomplish program goals.
You will lead project teams, establishing goals, planning and assigning work in coordination with organizational leads, and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
You will identify and analyzes problems; perform technical studies and evaluations; weigh relevance and accuracy of information; generate and evaluate alternative perspectives and solutions, and make timely recommendations.
You will keep abreast of technical achievements within and outside the program and other organizations and evaluate the applicability to MMSC test and evaluation.
You will plan, schedule and coordinate MMSC watch teams pertaining to TSQT Test and Evaluation events, interacting with Ship's Force, Program Sponsors, contractors and government teams during system test events, upgrades, data extract and analysis.
You will lead employees and contractors, understanding and facilitating program goals and objectives, and developing improvements in new work processes and procedures to improve productivity and value added.
You will prepare and deliver presentations to Program Sponsors concerning events that may impact deliverable milestones.
You will communicate with Test Directors, Project Officers, Project Engineers and maintenance leads to ensure continuity of efforts.
You will integrate the work activities of several organizational segments, analyzing areas of expertise, and organizational and operational problems to develop timely and economical solutions.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical or managerial oversight of the test and evaluation process (e.g., program coordination, requirements determination, resource utilization, tracking and reporting of shipyard integration) in support of the Navy surface fleet.
