You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Business Management Office of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER.

Duties

You will provide guidance and direction to NAVSUP BSC personnel concerning the Defense Travel System (DTS), Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) Program, and the NAVSUP Conference Management Program, as well as internal travel processes. You will initialize and maintain traveler personal and financial data. You will prepare orders and assist travelers with the PCS questions and the voucher process. You will works closely with senior personnel and supervisors to develop and process tracking systems, data collection and reporting systems in Access and Excel Microsoft Programs. You will attend meetings with management officials to establish cooperative relationships and/or establish specific processes for execution of financial resources. You will presents observations, findings and recommends changes to existing management practices. You will review program risks and audit/assessment findings to determine management control effectiveness and recommend new management controls.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program. Specialized Experience must demonstrate performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Reviewing program risks and audit/assessment findings to determine management control effectiveness and recommending new management controls; 2) Presenting observations, findings and recommending changes to existing management practices; 3) Providing timely and quality customer support to charge card program participants and charge card program stakeholders; 4) Preparing training materials to ensure current charge card policy and program management requirements are accurately communicated and ensuring that all mandatory training requirements are met; 5) Conducting detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes in order to provide solutions for disputed issues; and 6) Coordinating and overseeing the DoD Conference Attendance program while providing exemplary customer service.
