You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Maintenance Dept (N4) of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC.
Duties
You will be delegated full authority of the Maintenance Officer in the management, supervision and oversight of civilian personnel responsible for aircraft readiness, modification, and planning of all matters pertaining to aircraft maintenance.
You will plan, direct, and administer operations of the Maintenance Department providing oversight of the Depot level Integrated Maintenance Program and manage assigned aircraft to subordinate squadrons and other activities as required.
You will manage the integration of ILS elements monitoring all matters in redesign, modification, installation, maintenance, and logistic support for current and future systems and equipment.
You will monitor daily aircraft readiness by coordinating timely assessment and resolution of aircraft repair requirements.
You will review reports, on-going studies and projects in support of improving planned maintenance performance.
You will maintain continuing review of budgetary and time constraints by evaluating the effectiveness of programs and development of methods in resolving issues.
You will be acting Department Head in the absence of the Maintenance Officer.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing the planning and logistical support (e.g. manpower, training, funding) for life-cycle maintenance, modernization, and repair of aircrafts to meet cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness of project objectives.
