This position is part of theDefense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for providing leadership for various DSCA IT technical initiatives including their scopes, resources, schedules, quality, performance, requirements, risks, information assurance, process improvement, reporting.
Duties
As a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Reviews current IT/technical business practices for DSCA organizations in accordance with IT Governance and Engineering and Architecture Review Board, recommending changes where necessary to current policies and regulations to promote more effective processes and practices.
Develops processes, procedures for and facilitates Engineering & Architecture Review Board activities as well as coordinates and develops IT technical standards and processes to support enterprise mission needs.
Develops, maintains and reports on metrics related to areas of responsibility.
Acts as a liaison within the DSCA and private industry, portfolios, domains and internal and external stakeholders for the assigned functional and technical areas.
Provides analysis and performance evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and procedures within DSCA.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Developing processes, procedures for and facilitating technical discussions/meetings as well as coordinating and developing IT technical standards and processes to support enterprise mission needs.
Developing, maintaining and reporting on metrics related to areas of responsibility.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
