The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to AFLCMC/HNCCTK
Duties
1. Plans, schedules, reviews, and approved work of subordinates; and develops training opportunities for assigned personnel.
2. Directs Air Force key management operations, item management functions, and budget forecast function to ensure total life-cycle logistics and maintenance support for all equipment/systems assigned as primary or secondary inventory control activity.
3. Approves or rejects finished work in the form of studies, reports, letters, messages, memoranda, and other correspondence.
4. Ensures INFOSEC key, equipment, and reparable item requirements are programmed, satisfied and documented according to applicable service policy and doctrine.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by the depth and quality level of experience experience to successfully perform the duties of a Logistics Management Specialist which includes expert knowledge of a wide range of advanced principles, concepts, procedures, standards, and techniques of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) sufficient to plan and execute a complex and difficult product support program; and to apply new developments to issues for which previous techniques are frequently inadequate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the National Security Agency, Department of Defense, Air Force, and other governmental agencies that interface with and/or influence the key management process.
2. Knowledge of wide range of advanced principles, concepts, procedures, standards, and techniques, and the techniques of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) sufficient to plan and execute complex and difficult product support activities, and to apply new developments to issues for which previous techniques are frequently inadequate.
3. Knowledge of planning, programming, presenting, and executing budgets, financial documentation, and contractual assistance for forecasting short and long term mission requirements. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices and procedures.
4. Skill to plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of system programs and/or equipment and integrate, analyze, and manage variety of acquisition functions and personnel in support of product support management.
5. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with individuals and groups within the office as well as outside the immediate work organization. Ability to direct the staff of an organization, including special study teams and task forces composed of members of different organizations and commands.
6. Skill in communicating both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy that includes briefings to immediate supervisor through higher level commands.
7. Skill to plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of system programs and/or equipment and integrate, analyze, and manage variety of acquisition functions and personnel in support of product support management.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
