You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Tactical Training Group of TACTICAL TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC.
Duties
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of budget administration for the program and administrative operations.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets or financial records.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
You will be involved in the development, determination and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-09, or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: formulating budget and estimates and utilizing an automated financial system to report on obligations and expenditures.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
- successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
- successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
