About the Position: Serves as Supervisory Training Specialist (Evaluation) at Fort Gregg-Adams.
Duties
Serves as Chief, Quality Assurance Branch, Training Integration and Quality Assurance Division, Training and Doctrine Directorate, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command.
Determines overall quality assurance program requirements, plans and services. Advises the Division Chief and Director on support available.
Ensures systematic evaluation of Active Army (AA) and Reserve Component (RC) Sustainment training, products, materials, and programs and provides feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency across the DOTMLPF domains.
Serves as principal advisor to the Director on all matters pertaining to evaluation of the proponent schools and staff.
Serves as principal liaison to TRADOC, USARC, NGB, and other MACOMs on training evaluation and standardization.
Determines requirements and ensures systematic evaluation of DOTMLPF domain products and processes by the performance of scheduled visits to AA/RC Sustainment training locations throughout the CONUS, and occasionally to other overseas locations.
Formulates and recommends solutions to identified weaknesses and follows the process through to the resolution of problems.
Performs internal personnel administration and management tasks.
Serves as principal advisor for Army accreditation, evaluation, and standardization of all AA/RC Sustainment training.
Plans long-range work planning, directs, reviews, integrates, coordinates, and establishes policy for the services the Quality Assurance Branch.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
- Performance of duties may require the incumbent to travel TDY up to 50%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience such as managing, directing, coordinating, evaluating, and/or supervising the evaluation of Army institutional training activities in support of Master Evaluation Plans and Army Accreditation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcements.
