About the Position: Serve as the Functional Area 52 (FA 52) Course Manager in direct support of the Director, U.S. Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Agency (USANCA) and Headquarters, Department of the Army.

Duties

Make recommendations about internal and external program and policy issues affecting the overall organization, resources to devote to programs, and long-term planning in connection with prospective changes in functions and programs. Modify as required, the program of instruction (POI) to provide the FA52 population with a current and meaningful qualification course. Prepare the long-range planning schedules for the FA52 QC to develop out-year course scheduling dates in the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) and makes informed resourcing decisions regarding increased student loads. Coordinate the Senior FA52 Seminar (SLS) to provide mid-career FA52 officers with an education venue to remain current with nuclear and CWMD operational and strategic topics. Coordinate with the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) to provide an FA52 personnel management update. Establish a close relationship with the Defense Nuclear Weapons School (DNWS) to facilitate execution of the FA52 QC Maintain subject matter expertise with the Analysis, Design Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) educational process. Analyze annual budget requirements and manages allocate funds associated with course execution and related TDY expenses.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Required to perform periodic on-call Duty Officer functions to assist with the security requirements of the USANCA headquarters building.
