The U.S. Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center is the Army's Center of Lethality, and provides more than 90 percent of Army's lethality to soldiers. DEVCOM Armaments Center mission includes: improving already fielded items, developing new items, maintaining a strong armament technology base in government, industry and academia and providing technical support to Soldiers. This position is located in ESIC, LRED.
Duties
Utilize computer tools to perform a wide variety of administration/management services that are vital to the operation and management of the organization.
Provide information to employees and higher authority on a wide variety of administrative topics.
Provide responses to mission related and no-technical group/branch suspense's.
Assist in providing financial management and human resource management support to the group/branch chief.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.

**ADMINISTRATIVE CAREERS WITH AMERICA (ACWA) ASSESSMENT: This series is covered under the Administrative Careers With America (ACWA) examining program. The position is being recruited at the DE-02 grade level with full potential to the DE-03 level. You must meet the qualification requirements for the position and are required to take and pass the ACWA assessment.**
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. DE-02:General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes: (1) Experience using automated data base systems (2) Experience with record keeping/reconciliation (3) Experience assisting with travel orders/training requests and (4) Experience tracking suspense's using applicable procedures/policies. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-01/GS-04).

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. (NOTE: Must provide copy of transcript. Failure to provide copy of transcript will result in an ineligible rating).
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
